Howdy folks. I've ran a google search and pretty much trolled these forums and former posts with little to no success.

I am a moderator on my friends server (Ultimate) recently we have rain is every biome is can rain in 90% of the time. Alot of the time this is accompanied by thunder (not always though) - We have tried using console commands /weather clear /toggledownfall etc etc even setting the rain to be off for 11days (max duration of this command) and nothing works. It may stop raining for a little while (after 3/4 times of inputting the commands) but then resumes almost instantly. We've found some pretty nasty nodes in the map however both his base and my base are 15 thousand blocks away from each other (x axis) and a secondary base of mine with no nasty nodes over 2000 blocks away also has constant rain. He is convinced the issue lies in Thaumcraft and is wanting to disable it but I said I would poke around and see if we could find a less drastic solution

We've pretty much tried everything in game (including using Pure bees to purify nodes and lower Flux) yet still it rains and it's rather maddening. Is there anything he can try in his config or another place he needs to look other than blaming Thaumcraft (I've seen some posts mention Extrabiomes as causing issues etc)

I realise my post isn't all that detailed... I apologise in advance but any help you could offer me would be wonderful and give us a starting point more solid than guess work to go from.

Kind Regards

Kytten ^_^

Well there are items to make it rain. So someone could just be doing that every time it stops. If you are convinced it is thaumcraft make the nodes regenerate (there is a guide somewhere on his minecraft forums post about how to do it.)
