Hey guys, I have been getting constant out of memory errors while playing :

Launcher : 8.1.1

MindCrack Pack

Java : 1.6.0_41

Minecraft 1.4.7

Basically I'll be playing for anywhere between 5 and 30 minutes.

http://pastebin.com/6id0maAY - Most recent client malfunction.

My computer is a Macbook Pro 17" Quad Core i7 2.3ghz with 8gb DDR3 1333mhz RAM - http://support.apple.com/kb/SP621

My computer is by no means slow so I have no idea why this continues to happen..

Any help is appreciated.

Then I get the errors displayed below..

I already have set the Addition Parameters : as -Xmx4096M -Xms4096M and it isn't seeming to help...

no need for a full log file you need to add more permgen space add this to the java arguments ( -XX:MaxPermGen=512m ) also 128m would work and you can probably drop minecraft back to 2GB and not notice any performance difference.

Didn't like that argument "MaxPermGen=##" isn't working...

You can go higher if you need to, but really you should not. For S&G's I ran the DW20 and Mindcrack (Not at the same time) with 512 ram in the launcher.... Still getiing over 70 fps.

Oookay...I'll wait for it to happen again and then pastebin it.. you can't see the pictures?
It's not that I can't see the pictures, it's that your pictures:
1. Don't have the whole error report.
2. Are harder to read than they would be in text form.
Besides, the FTB Launcher has a built-in Pastebin error log uploader, it's not that hard.

Similar issue here, having 2 GB allocated gives me constant out of memory issues when Twilight Forest is installed, removing it seems to fix the crash. Also on a MAC. Tried making a MultiMC instance with nothing but Forge and Twilight Forest recently, it worked. Which means it's some conflict. I'll try to figure out what's conflicting soon.

try opening f3 and monitoring the ram useage in the top right if it is starting out low and going up and up for no reason there is a memory leak somewhere. also try going into a superflat world and see if it still gives you the out of memory error.
