Sup guys,

Im running .03 (no cauldron) on a SYS E3-SAT-3 with 18GB of ram dedicated to the server.
But I keep getting

[00:51:23] [Server thread/WARN]: Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded? Running 9699ms behind, skipping 193 tick(s)

[00:51:35] [Server thread/WARN]: Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded? Running 5357ms behind, skipping 107 tick(s)

[00:52:03] [Server thread/WARN]: Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded? Running 10193ms behind, skipping 203 tick(s)

[00:52:18] [Server thread/WARN]: Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded? Running 7315ms behind, skipping 146 tick(s)

[00:52:37] [Server thread/WARN]: Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded? Running 7306ms behind, skipping 146 tick(s)

Spamming console. No idea why. When we get 10-15 people online we drop TPS to about 10-13.
Its really annoying. OPIS doesnt really find anything to laggy so im not sure what the deal is.

At first 18GB is unnecessary.
4 / 8 GB would be enough for a modded server.

What MC version are you running?

This happens to me also when I am exploring the world, thus rendering new land.
This way the server need to generate new chunks, while you're flying the server need to generate alot of chunks real fast.

I thought that I read somewhere that this is a problem with the newest versions of minecraft.

My personal advice to you if you're flying, thus rendering new chunks do it without flying.

I hope that this will help your problem a little bit.

Happy Holidays :D

the error measn that the server and the system clocks are not the same due to what ever reason and that it is skipping so many ticks to fix it

This log here "Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded?" means the issue is with the CPU not being able to keep up, the TPS is off causing lag. Opis is a very lag mod and I suggest you keep it off unless you need it, also as mentioned above flying around very fast generating chunks puts a lot of load on the CPU so it is always best to generate the world prior to playing on it so the server doesn't have to generate anything.

How do you suggest keeping that world loaded? I flew around my world a prety long distance and preloaded a lot but we still get lag with the same Can't keep up log when someone starts loading World that I previously loaded but is no longer loaded on the server.

Past experiences with pre-gening a world have not gone down so well. Its always corrupted the map and put chunks in the wrong spot.
I didnt know you could pre-gen a FTB map as well.
