Console says "Address family not supported by protocol family"

I open FTB launcher and when i try to launch ftb unleashed it doesnt do anything and the console says

First you should be using the 64bit version of Java so you can allocate more than 1GB especially if you want to use the 1.6.4 packs. Be sure to remove the 32bit version. Second where are you trying to install the mod pack? It should be in a folder on your desktop for best results. Look here at this guide for the recommended setup. Be sure to check out the 'Other USEFUL Information' paragraph about antivirus programs keeping the launcher from connecting and/or downloading the packs properly.

I downloaded the 64 bit version already, how do you remove the 32 bit version? I did the guide and i have a folder on my desktop for ftb. Now i get a different console.

Also the launcher says "Please wait while the mods are being loaded."

The 32bit version should be in your Control Panel. There should be two versions of Java listed uninstall Java 7 update 45 without any extra description and leave the x64 bit version alone. As for the error, have you checked your antivirus and/or fire wall to ensure that it is not blocking the launcher? Most connection errors are caused by those two. Try temporarily disabling your antivirus program and see if that fixes it. Also which antivirus and firewall program do you have?
