I play on a server, and I've been getting high CPU and very slow gameplay with FTB Unleashed. After investigating for a bit, I found that my local JVM processes for Minecraft and the Console are both at peak. It's normal for Minecraft to consume a lot of CPU time, but the console? Something's wrong.
Long story short, I found that the console was outputing a ton of messages like this whenever you play:
A sample dump of the log can be found here: http://pastebin.com/JYfQ8DBy
I've tried hiding the console via the launcher settings, but results are still the same.
As a workaround, I set the console to only show messages from the launcher. You can do this either before starting the game, or after Minecraft loads.
