(The system cannot find the file specified)
I've seen this error before and it appears that it is an antivirus program not allowing you to download the file required for the launcher to run. Try either temporarily disabling your antivirus and then running the launcher or adding the folder, C:\Users\Logan.office-PC\AppData\Roaming\ftblauncher, to the exclusions list of your computer. If you have to disable your antivirus each time you want to use the launcher I suggest adding the exclusion instead.

So disabling your antivirus program allowed you to run the launcher? Or do you want to try adding it to see if it works?

To do this it depends on which antivirus software you have. There should be a list where you can place folders/files that you do not want you antivirus program to check or keep tabs on. In a few it is called the exclusions list or exceptions list.

Yes that is the one. Not sure if these instructions will be 100% accurate as I do not know which version of Norton you have. If you find out which version I might be able to find exact instructions, though these should work. You want to add 'C:\Users\Logan.office-PC\AppData\Roaming\ftblauncher' to the list. You might have to enable hidden folders and files to be able to browse to that folder. If you need help with that check here.

Edit: 'Be sure to select "Include subfolders" if selecting an entire folder.' Make sure you do this as we want everything in the ftblauncher folder to be excluded.

I added the Disk/Roaming thing
Now I will try again[DOUBLEPOST=1384925705][/DOUBLEPOST]I opened FTB and my Norton thing popped up and said FTB_Launcher.exe is safe.
Then I opened it up and it had all the same errors. So I selected my profile, hit launch and it said,
Unhandled exception in Thread[AWT-EventQueue-0,6,main]:java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: -1

Also I have Norton Security Suite if that helps at all.
Not really I need the version number as in version 7 or 8 or 2010, 2011 or 2012.

I was trying to find a link to the forum member who said that adding the folder to his AV's exclusion list fixed the problem, though I've been unable to. Please follow this guide exactly to reinstall the launcher. Make sure you take note of 'Other USEFUL Information:' first paragraph about the antivirus programs as you do.

If after following the guide you are still experiencing connection issues check out this thread for possible fixes and please contribute to it by using the first post as a guide. One of the other possible solutions is to change the download location in the launcher. Not sure if that would fix it, but its worth a try.
