Solved it: Apparently my router i got from my ISP doesn't support loopback.
Hello fellow gamers,
I'm sorry i rarely ask for stuff, but now i really need some help
I recently created a ftb rev server for me and some friends to play on,
i'm hosting it on my server (not my regular pc) on my local network, the server is working perfect and my friends are playing w/o issues
But when i try to connect, there's a massive delay while im connected, if i would to be typing something in the chat it will take about 30seconds for me to even see it and after a minute or two i get disconnected with this error code: Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
Java: Version 8 update 271 (build 1.8.0_271-b09)
FTB: 3.3.0
I can connect to any other ftb rev server w/o issues
I have searched the internet for answers and i tried:
Removing all my playerdata from the server,
Changing name on mc,
Ticked the box in java settings "Enable the operating system's restricted environment (native sandbox),
/flushdns etc etc
Reinstalling Windows 10,
I'm grateful for any advice on what to try next
Best regards,
Bisken
