Hello, been playing around with DW20 modpack for a while and everything was fine.
Lately I started a new map with Infinity pack, but decided to remove Thaumcraft, Bloodmagic and Witchery related parts. Added Gany's Surface and Nether. Made an enchantment table and for some reason max enchantment level is locked to 10. Doesn't matter how many bookcases I add, it doesn't rise the maximum allowed level. Tried to search this problem, but can't find any solution. What can affect it? Bookcases are placed as I always place them and up to this point everything worked, just now on this map and pack, it refuses for any kind cooperation.
Is there something else in Infinity, what prevents it working with bookcases? Any kind help is appreciated.

Are you sure you are not blocking the "line of sight" to the book cases somehow?

Well I dunno if it has anything to do with it but 1.7 doesnt like when you remove mods post-worldgen.

Thank you for obvious question!
Placed carpets around enchanting table before and as it is visually not "blocking" then I really didn't think about it at all, so sometimes other people have to point out very obvious.

If you want carpets, you can use the Chisel Carpet Blocks instead, as they can be placed flush into the floor.

Yep, already swapped my carpets out for carpet blocks and everything is fine :)
Sneaky carpets ... looking so innocent and blocking my bookcases ... grrr
So somebody just had to say "blocking line of sight" to make me think about that possibility at all.
Thanks again.
