Hey Guys,

I'm starting a small private server using the direwolf20 pack along with some other mods that i'm adding in myself.

So my question is this:

Do the server's configuration files have to be the same as the client's configuration files?

Thanks,

ShizzleT

They generally don't *have* to be, but you can run into errors where NEI shows the wrong recipes for players.

The safest would be yes, just have them the same.

I'm not entirely sure how it works, but my server says the mods are outdated if I change a config for my controls. Oddly enough, once I change the server's configs, have my players switch to the config and switch back to their old ones, it works fine.
If you get errors related to mods being out of date, then you should probably hand out the config to your players.

Sometimes con figs contain version numbers within them, that may be triggering that issue
