No matter what direction i place my computer, it will not recognize the valve as a peripheral; openp/docs <side> returns no peripheral found, my code is throwing a nil exception (on the line where the peripheral is called for getTanks()), neither computer nor modem is working, any help? (also the modem wont connect with steel tank walls or glass; havent tried the computer itself)

Im playing on Monster 1.1.1, unmodified so the versions of railcraft, computercraft, and open peripheral are the same as the defaults.

Now I may be wrong but I think there is a bug that prevents this.

I want to be able to control my rotary craft room with a computer, and the jet fuel level is essential to this, and I'm on a server, so i can't update the mods

Find another way, it's fun.

Maybe use buckets for all input and output to your tank (via fluid transposers) and then count the buckets.

Extra cells storage bus + fluid level emitter(s)?

One thing though, the fluid level emitters may bork if the fluid registry changes (ie after an update or you add/remove a mod that registers a fluid). I don't think that was fixed before development switched to 1.7.
