The people in the support website seem to refuse to answer this question so I'll ask it here. What are the system requirements I would need for me to run FTB on the highest video settings with decent fps (30+) on a world with tons of buildings, redstone, etc. you know, heavy stuff. Truly I'm just trying to figure out if I need to replace or upgrade my computer and if I'm upgrading, which parts I need to upgrade. I've got enough RAM. At least 3Ghz processor. I'm assuming the graphics thing is what's messing me up. I've no idea what that is and I don't plan on finding out right now since I've already gone through the trouble of typing this. I'm trying to include a lot of info because I don't want a big discussion. Just a plain answer. If you have a question I'll answer it but I see some other people asking this same question and I get frustrated reading it because the poor guys never get their questions answered. Sure I wasn't specific on my computer specs but that's why you're here to give me suggestions. Don't worry about it :) Anyways thanks for any help you can give.

You need 32 cores, And at least 64GB of ECC RAM. No, but seriously, if you can't be bothered to give people specific information, you can't expect a decent answer. The "graphics thing" means nothing if your "at least 3ghz" cpu is an original Pentium 4, and "enough ram" could mean you have given the game too much. If you want a decent answer, give enough information for an answer to be formulated.

At least 3Ghz processor.
This doesn't mean much if it's an old architecture, like already has been said. Go for the best combination of high frequency and IPC (read: Intel i5 or i7). Graphics card isn't that important, unless you're using a potato.

Also, 30+ FPS on a sufficiently developed FTB world might not be possible, regardless.

CaptainQux is right. We need more information to give you a valid answer.

Right now you tell a garage that you have a car, that goes 250km/h and you want to know what fuel it needs. He obviously will ask you what engine is in there, and you just reply with "one that goes 250 Km/h"
