Computer randomly shuts off while playing ftb?

When i play Feed the beast, i play some time and then my computer just shuts off?
This happens with any pack i try any way to fix this? :S

Desktop but it cant be overheating because non of the fans are close to walls or anything.. and i have cleaned the fan hole things

Could be your power supply unit not supplying enough power to the components, or PSU failure.

Did you try other games? Are all driver up to date? Is Java on the newest version?

Run Memtest. I had a computer that used to do this with much less memory intensive games, come to find out one of my RAM sticks was going bad. I replaced that and it ran for another five years before the lightning hit.
