I've had this problem on my desktop well not really a desktop but im really OCD but my problem is all my icons wont lock into a position and they keep going around randomly and it really annoying me because they are all over lapping :S.
i've done the "sort by" thing and it goes into the wrong order haha.
Thank if you could help.

Which OS do you have? Assuming you have windows I may be able to help. On windows, 7 at least, right click on the desktop and move down to view. Make sure that 'Align icons to grid' is check marked. Align to grid will keep your icons from overlapping. It will not keep them from moving accidentally if you choose sort or start moving the icons around. It will simply keep them from over lapping.

If you do not mind having all your icons on the left you can also check 'Auto arrange icons' This one will keep your icons arranged to the left top to bottom left to right. You can still arrange them and accidentally move them.

Hope these help. I am unaware of an easy way to lock the icons from ever moving. There might be some free-ware, but I'd check it out thoroughly before I downloaded it and maybe not even then if you can live with these options.

I have only one icon, and one icon only on my desktop screen, and that's the pastebin.
I hate having icons on my desktop screen :mad:
