Requesting a small gameplay mechanic mod which does the following:
1.) Locks the world difficulty per world upon creation
2.) Starts an internal timer which changes the difficulty over time
3.) Enables/disables mods (optional) based on difficulty
4.) Enables/disables mobs based on difficulty
5.) Configurable with time interval or interval range. Difficulty changes ordered and configurable, so in theory someone could start at peaceful, after 1 hour change to hard then after another hour change to normal, or just increase it in a more logical manner
This will be useful for players who wish to add difficult hostile mobs to their game, but still want to be able to have a chance to get established and gather the needed equipment to fight them off. Difficulty "scales" as you progress
It will also allow players to begin a world on hardcore, and if they are able to survive and advance a very long time change the difficulty to "hard", making the save permanent.
