CodeChickenLib is a required component for many other mods. My problem is that I have no idea why anyone would use a mod that, for years, has always made it impossible to explore in Minecraft. The mod makes it to where if you do a lot of traveling the game freezes for several seconds, and it starts doing this more and more often as you keep traveling. It's hard to play when the game spends a quarter (or more) of it's time frozen.
Is there a way to fix this? And if not, WHY do people keep using this? As I said, it's done this for years. I remove it from any pack I make and I stop having problems. But many popular mods keep requiring it.
EDIT: I know Lib isn't years old, but Code Chicken Core, it's predecessor, did the same thing.
