Windows .exe Client crash on joining a server

FTB Launcher version: Current​
Minecraft Version: 1.4.7, Mindcrack 8.1.1 (Server & Client)​
Java version: 1.7.0_11​
Detailed description of the issue / how can the issue be recreated:
Simply trying to login to my server crashes the client. Also happens if I delete the Mindcrack Folder, redownload the whole pack and try to login without any modifactions or texturepacks. I also stopped the server and restarted it. Playing in singleplayer still works. The server I play on is hosted by Multiplay and is an unmodified Mindcrack 8.1.1 server. Yesterday I was still playing, today its not working anymore.​

I'm having the exact same problem. For months i've been trying to get it working on my MultiPlay server with no luck. Until v7 came around and it suddenly worked.

Now with this update and MultiPlay only offering the latest version of the modpack it's like a kick in the nuts.

as it stands they are non existent as the people on my server have came to realize we have put in multiple tickets and little to no help and this is a common error that happens on updates from what i can tell.

My problem was solved by the multiplay chat-support. Was quite quick, only one script they had to run to remove some files. After that everything is working fine now since a couple of days.

No, I didn't got a script. Actually, it's a server side problem. So if you contact them via the chat-support, they will run that script on your server and everything will be fine again. I don't have access to the script.
