Clicking play on twitch app and nothing happens

Hi all.. 1st of all sorry if this is not the place to ask such questions or if this has already been posted/answered elsewhere.. if thats the case i would appricate pointing the correct post.. well yesterday i installed twitch app and installed mc on it and installed feed the beast infinity evolved. It all worked fine.. today when i went back to play. I click the play button on the modpack and twitch app shows like its going to load for a split second and then nothing happens. I have deleted twitch app/ uninstalled mc and ftb and installed everything all over again but the same problem persists. Did any1 encounter this? Any help would be appricated. Thanks

tried that but it didnt work. found a workaround anyway. thanks for your input
