Ideally it would be great if you could enter "/lagmeter" and look at the lag or fps hit by a chunk(or a few chunks). This would help multiplayer servers identify what machine(s) are causing the most lag. For example a player could build a system then turn it on and hit /lagmeter plus a (chunk(s) identifier) and it would tell you the fps hit or some other measure that would indicate potential for lag.

I don't know if this is possible but I've watched many minecrafters on YouTube and there always seems to be an issue with tracking exactly who/what is causing the lag. I think this would help a lot.

It would simply be impossible to get those FPS measurements unless you would turn on/off chunks one by one and measure the difference. But if you would want a mod that could do such a thing go and build it ;)

Same goes for server CPU; it's quite hard to figure out what a CPU is actually doing without running the server in a profiler setup (which you don't want normally).

I do think there are some mods that identify locations with a lot of entities on the ground. Those tend to be the main reason for severe server issues.
