Chunk flashing due to optifine? Anyone else get this?

I get chunk flashing while I use optifine, and I don't want to remove it bc I hate depth fog. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I have an amd a4 apu with radeon HD integrated graphics. Oh and I'm on Linux. I've tried enabling vsync, but nothing, and I can't find out how to disable open gl in the catalyst, any ideas?

Open your video control panel and disable " Threaded Optimisation" or do not use "multi-core" in optifine.

Hmm, multi core was off, turned it on and it went away ? Weird. Anyways it fixed it lol

There's a mod around that only removes the depth fog; if that's all you're using Optifine for, you may consider replacing it (personally, I've given up on Optifine, given this and the zoom mod).

Honestly, that's been my impression, as well. I get a more stable, and often higher, framerate without it. It could be that I've misconfigured it, but there aren't really that many knobs to tweak and most of them don't seem to do anything.
