Just thought I'd confirm this is happening to me too. Placed down blocks show up fine, by the way.

Happened on my server aswell, make sure there are no Enderman heads from Ender IO around, they seem to render in a strange way which causes this problem.

Wow! Insta-fix.

I had a spare head that I didn't want to devote a storage drawer to, so had it floating on a wall.
