Changing server type.

Hi currently we have a FTB:Unleashed server running, some users now want to convert to a FTB:Yogcraft server.

Is it possible to save the world files , change the server jar then reload the old world files. ??

No. Too many ID conflicts. Most of the things in the world would be deleted.

Nope sorry man, i wanted to do this with my single player world and couldnt!, the reason you cant cause diffrent Mods and (Main Problem) Diffrent Config #'s. sorry man.

Sounds like a job for some super coder type .

Create an app , that takes one server type and converts the ID's to a different one.

There is already something like that but the amount of stuff users would loose anyway do to the fact yogcraft has less mods is too large. Tell the users if they switch to yogcraft most mod objects will be lost and if they still want to do it, the server will work, there will just be permanent lighting glitches and such.
