Mac Changing old world config

Hey guys I just started playing FTB as I got bored of updating all my mods everytime Minecraft updated :p. So I just copied my old save world from 1.4.6 into FTB 1.4.6. However, the problem is that in my old world, I had changed some of the block ids in the configs and now they don't match the FTB configs. I'm currently playing with the FTB configs replaced by my old configs but I would very much prefer to use the FTB configs. Is there any way to do this :) Thanks.

it is possible, if you edit manual the id's of the configfiles of FTB. Keep in mine if FTB uses more or less mods then your old pack it can cause problems with the worldgen

That's what I'm currently using -- my old config in FTB. However, the config would be incompatible with other FTB maps so I was wondering if there was a way to make my old world compatible with the FTB config :)
