Details of the issue I am just trying to eliminate shaped recipes for all gears. Sorry guys, I know this is basic for some, but I have tried to learn this stuff and old dog isn't learning new tricks very well.

OK, what have you tried? If you could post your CraftTweaker script, that would be great for diagnosing your issue - I've often missed the simplest things when writing a script!
