Change rain sound

I'm playing Blood n Bones and I don't mind the rain. Just the noise grates on me. I know I can turn down the particle effects and it'll get rid of the noise but the issue is the noise not the particles. So I was wondering about a way to change the sound it doesn't make me want to jump into a horde of zombies just to get the sound to stop.

Extra utilities has a region muffler or you could change the sound file if it's really that bad

I would like to change the sound file but am unable to locate it.

I figured out how to change it with a resource pack. Thanks for your help.
