Change Minecraft version back ?

Details of the issue:
I changed my launcher version to 1.7.10 but with this version I cant join anymore on my server.
I wanted to ask: Can I change the launcher version back ? When yes pls answer how to do. (Dont know where to find the changelogs hope I linked the right.)
