Change a word

as you are allowed to replace a word are you also allowed to change it to another place in the progress?
if yes then
She is now totally dead in Paul.
else
She is now totally not dead in Paul.

I would assume the latter - in which case:

She is now totally not dead in Alien :D
 
She is not totally dead inside Alien!

I now so wish we could add extra words like "a" to get a better flowing sentence
