I've had a Minecraft server for years yet I've never encountered this kind of error.
I bought a server from a host dedicated to Minecraft and modpacks which I worked with previously and everything was fine. This time, I can't seem to reach the IP they gave me although they can perfectly connect to it. If I try to connect anyway it says : Connection timed out: connect. I tried turning off my firewall, restarting everything from the server to my computer. I tried running the launcher as administrator but still nothing. I can connect to other Direwolf20 1.6 servers, but I can't connect to mine. I'm running Windows 7. I didn't add anything to the server although I did upload my own world. Even if I try to regenerate a new one, I can't reach the server. I also remarked that when I try to connect to the server, the server console shows nothing. Usually it shows that someone attempted to join but now, nothing. I don't know the server specs but I know I have 1GB of RAM available. I already contacted the Host Support but they're having a hard time figuring it out too. I thought I would take a chance and post here to see if anyone has an idea of what's going on.
