Hello,
I was prompted to update Horizons after launching FTB earlier. After the update I tried to play my world but it would crash to desktop. After trying several more times I enabled force update. After the update my world has disappeared (creating new worlds and saving them works fine), yet I can still see it in my save folder. What course of action can I take to fix this conundrum?
Thanks.

You are using an old version of java. Remove any old versions then reboot and install the one from here.

Which version of the pack were you playing before the update?

Thank you for that link. unfortunately it didn't help. The world save file is still not showing up.

Have you tried reverting back to the old one. The 1.0.10 version has been available for a week or more. It would have prompted you by now to update. Unless you have not been playing.

I've actually been playing on and off, but kept minecraft minimized at times when not playing. Perhaps that's why it didn't prompt me. So how would one go about restoring to a previous version?

From the drop down box where it usually says recommended.

You could also try moving the affected world out of the saves folder. Then create a new world with the same name then exit mc. Now copy the data from the the old world to the new one and replace any files it asks.
