Can't log into server

Title Can't log into server

Details of the issue I have my own server to play FTB Revelation on but every time I try to log in I get disconnected because the server says I have to much string encoded which is more than its max. The server itself states, "reason: Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.EncoderException: String too big (was 37402 bytes encoded, max 32767)". On the client side I get "Internal Exception: Java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host". I can not seem to find a way around this problem online or a way around it. I have tried to play single player and that went fine as well as restarting the server and turning off and on my texture packs with no luck.
