Can't load modpacks on launcher 1.3.4

I recently updated to the newest launcher build and when I started it up the modpack page got stuck saying "Please wait while mods are being loaded..." I can't play the packs anymore so I'd love to know why this happens and if anyone else gets this problem as well.

Problem:
Pack doesn't launch due to HTML issue.
Original Solution: remove </br></br> from the [pack] description and set the modpacks xml file to read only
It's been fixed

Force Update and re-open your launcher.
