Can't Launch from Twitch app

I am not able to launch Sky Factory 4 from the twitch app and am not quite sure why. I have downloaded the latest version of minecraft forge and have allocated 4 of my 8 Gb of Ram so I don't know what to do now. The error message reads:

Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: Ignoring option PermSize; support was removed in 8.0
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ClassCastException: java.base/jdk.internal.loader.ClassLoaders$AppClassLoader cannot be cast to java.base/java.net.URLClassLoader
at net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch.<init>(Launch.java:34)
at net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch.main(Launch.java:28)

Does anyone know a solution or have encountered the same issue?
Any advice is helpful, thanks!

Sky Factory 4 is not a FTB pack - contact mod pack creator for support.
