Can't Launch Any packs

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Details of the issue I have already installed the 64-bit Java, but it still won't work for me? I'm a bit of a narb when it comes to this, but I used to be able to run this, I don't know why it chooses to not work now. Again, I've already installed the newest java.

How did you verifiy that you installed 64-bit java?

Did you restart the launcher after you installed 64-bit?

Can you open a command prompt and do: java -version

Or perhaps a screenshot of the 64-bit installation?

Alright, I did the command prompt and it says java version "1.8.0_121"

The installation was done yesterday, but I can install it again if that's needed?
Thanks!

I'm sorry, I'm bad with all this computer stuff but where do I go find that? Is that the same stuff from the command prompt?

How did you go about installing 64-bit java?

When I do it I download a file that I then run, that file is named something.

So I'm asking about the name of the file that you downloaded and then used for installing 64-bit java - no, not the same stuff from the command prompt.

You have the 32bit version of java installed according to the log file you attached, C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_121
Uninstall that and goto https://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp download and install the 64bit offline version.
That should sort out the issues you have.
