Summary of the problem Cant intereact with anything after joining LAN server

Pack Version 3.0.15

What is the bug? Im playing on a LAN server with a friend, but whenever I join, neither of us can interact with anything. It started happening when my friend's computer crashed while he was in-game, and when he rejoined, he couldnt do anything. when I join, Im in the beneath when I join, and he's in the overworld. After a while, I time out, and I cant rejoin unless he restarts the LAN server. We've tried restarting his computer, his game, the server, and allocating more memory.

Is it repeatable? Whenever i join his LAN server, it happens

Found a fix:

the host has to log in and go to the beneath. Then, the host opens the LAN server and as soon as the other player joins, /kill them, then /kill the host. Both players will respawn in the overworld, and the server will be functional.
