Cant install plugins on dedicated server

Details of the issue:
I recently bought a server running FTB. The mod pack works perfect with no errors. The server is just for me and a few friends but i wanted to install essentials but i cant figure out how. I've tried using forge to download the essentials mod but putting that in the mod folder didnt work.​

If you are referring to Bukkit version of Essentials you need to use either Thermos or kCauldron. If you installed ForgeEssentials and it crashes, post the crash log.
