So this is my first server and I use shockbyte hosting. Most things set but I can't hook it to enjin because they abandoned their forge support since 1.6.4. I've been trying to install cauldron and kcauldron but all my attempts end with

[Server] INFO Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: ignoring option MaxPermSize=256M; support was removed in 8.0

while native jar works just perfect. Can't run those on my PC either but i suspect that's java problem and I don't really care for it right now.

Can you post the full log when trying to start the server with KCauldron? Also what pack and which version of KCauldron are you using?
You also have to delete fastcraft from the server if you are using Cauldron or KCauldron.

This is literally all I get in the console.

Here's the logs. Again I mostly suspect incorrect installation on my part since I can't find any information on how its supposed to be done.

Did you try removing Fastcraft? Where is your Cauldron .jar located and what server setting are you using in multicraft?
The log also shows you have ForgeEssentials installed, last time I tried it's not compatible with Cauldron.

I turned off fast craft and still nothing. I think right now its kcauldron and I heard its at least should be compatible with fastcraft.
I'm using custom.jar but I also tried kcauldron and cauldron jar settings including moving it into specific folder. I'll give it a try to turning off forgeessentials too i guess.

Edit: without essentials reacts just the same

In the Multicatft panel, is there a box for entering the .jar name?
Have you tried using custom.jar setting and renaming the Cauldron .jar to custom.jar?

Are there any crash reports?

Thats exactly what I did to get such thing. When I used 'kcauldron' jar setting it couldn't recognize kcauldron jar and I wrote to the support too.

No crash reports when I use custom jar, only those I already posted.

If you use kcauldron jar setting it looks for a certain file name, if it can't find it, the log should show that and what file it is looking for.
You have placed the kcauldron jar in the server root or is there a specific jar folder?

Figured my problem. Kcauldron really hates tickdynamics for forge. Basically instantly closed my server without any sort of logs.
