can't find any Apatite

after looking for about an hour in a mountain biome (y83) that was near my meadow I decided to spawn a bunch of industrial tnt and dissemble the biome.
when I was done no Apatite was in my inventory.
so where is it?

Apatite spawns at level 60 (http://feed-the-beast.wikia.com/wiki/Apatite_Ore) so what I would do is to go mining or make a quarry (which is expensive if you have gregtech but the easiest to find Apatite (I think))[DOUBLEPOST=1373007079][/DOUBLEPOST]wait wait, i am confused! there is two Apatite. There is a Apatite (Gem) and Apatite (ore) which one?

Actually, in recent versions of Forestry, Apatite starts spawning on level 50, so you can find it all over the place if you're lucky now. Maybe you've somehow disabled Apatite spawns in the configs? Just seems weird that you wouldn't find any in an entire biome...

if you're playing the 1.5 FTB pack, MFR actually added a recipe for MFR's fertilizer to be turned into Forestry's fertilizer

Edit: Just tested it... Are you certain? I can find no such thing on my 152WGT0.8 world...

I kind of agree with that... but do note, it's MFR's fertilizer for Forestry's fertilizer, and not for Apatite
but still, it's atleast another way of getting Forestry fertilizer, because you can't always find apatite

1 MFR fertilizier in a crafting grid gives 1 Forestry fertilizer, do note it's a 1.5 thing
