Can't edit Descriptive Book ?

I'm currently Using Feed The Beast Beta Pack A v12 1.4.2
and when I put a Descriptive book on a writing desk ,
it doesnt let me edit the book.
I tried Looking for enabling it on the Config files but still
it does not work.

That's for the newest Mystcraft. The one in the Beta pack is the older version.
Once you enter a descriptive book, you are no longer able to edit it. You need to have a 'notebook' in the left-most slot to add your symbols into the book. You can spawn a notebook that has all of the symbols through creative mode - normally, you have to find the ones that are randombly generated via age hopping, thought just getting the one through creative works.

He has an older one too. But I honestly don't know why people still use the beta pack.
