FTB Launcher version (if this isn't the newest update update and try again): newest one (downloaded today from http://feed-the-beast.com/launcher)

Minecraft Version: FTB hasn't downloaded anything

Java version: where can i look that up?

Detailed description of the issue / how can the issue be recreated: I created a account(loged into my MC account), selected FTB Unleasehed --> error

Right, whitelist the launcher in your firewall would be the first step, because this is saying it cannot download something that everyone else can...
 
well, what should the file(what ever) be called in the firewall(what's its name?), if it is something with FTB i don't even have it in the list
 
i figured it out
it wasn't my firewall, I just had to run it as administrator
thanks anyway
