Can't create a world on Ultimate/Mindcrack

When ever I try to create a new world on the Ultimate pack or the Mindcrack pack, it just gets stuck at the "converting world" screen. I checked the consul and it always stops at "loading dimension 0" Since I don't get this problem with the DW20 pack I'm assuming it has something to do with GregTech. I've tried deleting and reinstaling both packs multiple times AND I tried creating a world in the DW pack and importing it to both of the other packs but it just gets stuck at the "loading World' screen. Is anyone else getting this problem? And if so, can someone help?

I have the same problem but my console stops at a different point. I did not have the problem when I was on the beta and that had GregTech so that's probably not the problem.

I have the same problem! I can easily enter my Direwolf world but I cannot create a world in the Ultimate pack! Does anyone have a solution? :c

On my link about Java updates, there is updated instructions for OSX 10.8.x

Others have gotten it to work.

I don't know coding so I don't really understand what it is I'm supposed to do.
