cant connect to the launcher using java 64bit using win8

You should, the response time might be slightly slower, but you're likely to get a for sure fix.

We have a bit of a backlog since most of us have been extremely busy recently. Slowly but surely we're trying to cut that backlog back down, and hopefully before an update is launched lol.

I know this is somewhat the wrong place to ask, and there is a post for it, but are you guys still open for staff applications? I was thinking of applying, but the application post is a bit old..
 
I too am having the same problem, I have Kapersky as well. I know it is a problem with kapersky because when i pause kapersky i don't get the error...is there a port that should be added to kaspersky or something?
