Can't connect to lan network.

When i try and connect to my brother's FTB lan world, I get a timed out error message. It worked for a couple days but now it won't.

Could you give us a few details?
Logs? A few spec details? Connection details? Anti Virus software? Have they recently updated?

The reason I ask is it could be related to your firewall settings or your AntiVirus' RT Shield.

I haven't received any update alerts from my antiviruses (avg). I have a cisco router and am running a wireless setup.

Have you tried disabling your Anti Virus' Real Time Shields and disabling your firewall? Perhaps check if your Firewall is blocking I/O's from Java?

I disabled them and it's still timing out.

It's mojangs error in 1.4.2 error log there is (connection timed out error) on lan. will be fixed in 1.4.5

Can you try to connect with ethernet cable?
Might be a work around for the time out.

I am currently having a small problem with the LAN. When a friend tries to join they just get "FML" error. Any ideas?
