hello, im sure there are other threads like this around and i have read a few of them with no hope to solve my issue.
my problem:
when i launch FTB it downloads the correct modpack i need (in this case unleashed 1.1.3 and 1.1.5)
the game launches no problem using my username and password, and puts on me menu screen.
when i click on multiplayer i can see the servers id like to join are online and with players on.
when i click join however, my game remains on Logging in... and after about 30 seconds i get a timeout java error.
i could keep trying and trying to login over and over with the same results.
the people who are in the server actually looks at my name joining and leaving after a few seconds and if someone is around where my character is ingame they can see me. but i dont get in the game at all.
i get kicked with a timeout error back to the multi player menu.
i have read many websites and troubleshooting guides about problems like this.
so let me post here what i have done to attempt to login.
first off, i though it could be some sort of router issue. so i have checked if anything is blocked on parenting, on ports, on dns, on IP, checking if something could be wrong and i have even reset the router to fabric settings. problem wasnt solved.
then i though maybe the FTB files got corrupted somehow. so i deleted all FTB related, the %appdata% folder and the folder where i have the modpacks downloaded, even the launcher and i redownloaded everything again, problem wasnt solved either.
someone told me to reinstall java or check for updates, i already had the Java 7 45 for 64x
i did reinstall anyways, still cant login.
i even found an extra config to add into the java options of the FTB launcher, added it and still couldnt login into servers.
First time the problem happened, was about a month ago. and i gave up into playing minecraft after a week of trying.
how ever someone asked me to try again last week and for some weird reason i was able to login again.
then a few days ago i had a power issue in my house and everything was shutdown for a couple of hours, when the power came back up, the error came with it. and now i cant login again.
i really have no idea whats causing it.
any ideas?
