Can't break blocks mining dimension

Details of the issue I can't break any blocks in the mining dimension when I'm in survival mode (singleplayer) I can place blocks and in Creative mode I can break blocks. When i try breaking a block I can see the breaking animation and the block disappears for a second and appears again.
In the Overworld there is no issue. I also dont have any fps problems at all. I tried resetting the mining dimension but it still doesn't work
