Cannot Run any FTB modpack

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Title Cannot Run any FTB modpack

Launcher Type FTB Launcher

Modpack FT Beyond(Primarily)

Modpack version 1.10.2

Have you modified the pack? No

Link to log file http://paste.feed-the-beast.com/view/2fddfdf0

Details of the issue Running any Modpack through either the Legacy FTB launcher or the Curse launcher results "note responding" every few seconds. I have tried different versions of Java(both 64 and 32-bit,) Every different amount of RAM I can(Now set to 6GB,) I have tried clean installs, and I have tried running it in a completely clean user profile. I have some Antivirus on this computer, Windows defender and HitmanPro Alert, HMPA is disabled and all versions of Java have exceptions in Windows defender. I have tried everything I can think of, any help would be appreciated.

Lite specs of my Laptop:
i7-4700QM Processor,
12GB RAM
Make/model: HP Envy
Running off 120GB SSD
Windows 10 64bit

Thank you.

Look for updates for your graphics card (also check intels pages, not only windows update).

Keep using 64-bit java

Turn of VBO (options / video settings)

If none of above works, try installing and use java 8.25

Thank you for the reply. Ive tried updating the graphics driver from both HP and Intel, and I have the most up to date version according to them (intel's drivers won't work because HP requires manufacturer drivers,) I will try turning off VBO and using java 8.25 asap when I get home. Thank you!

I FINALLY got an error code. "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" I believe this might have something to do with Intel HD graphics and OpenGL but I'm in the very beginning of the research process. Any help would be appreciated. I will post more when I have more info.
