Title Cannot Launch Modpacks

Details of the issue Alterations: Optifine was added to both. No issues before now. I can guarantee that it is not the issue.
Twelve days ago,I was playing Regrowth just fine. Now,when I try to launch it,I get an error from the Minecraft Launcher,which reads as follows;
"LAUNCH FAILED - The version you are trying to play inherits properties from an unknown version."
I've tested with the only other modpack I have installed,DireWolf 20,but that gave the same error.
I've change nothing in the interim; This problem sprang up from something outside of my doing. I'm running Windows 10 64 bit.
