Cannot Launch Game

Earlier today I was playing fine but the launcher went through an update and now it asks for a password to get in. I tried my account password for MC but it didnt take that. Is anyone else having this problem?

If you are having issues with login, Edit your profile. The update added account encryption that messed up existing profiles.
