Cannot install Tolkiencraft 2

Hello, recently (for the past few months) I have been trying to install the tolkiencraft modpack on the FTB launcher, my only issue is that the game (A.) Won't launch. (B.) Will Launch but will not let me enter a world or create a new one. This is very disappointing because I love Tolkien's work and this seems to be the best mod out there to replicate it, it would be greatly appreciated if anyone could assist me in this.

Did you download the world map? It's not included by default. A button on the client directs you to the correct location.
