Cannot connect to LAN?

hey.

so, my mates are right next to me are playing LAN on ftb

but, im sitting right here, on the same internet, on a laptop, and it dosent show up?

on the laptop, it continues to search, but nothing pops up.

it works fine for my mates?

help.

Check the firewall settings on both computers

Not without a log, no. When I encountered this problem, the firewalls on both computers were preventing the LAN server from appearing. I had to shut them off to get it to work.
