Details of the issue Trying to host a server on my pc, has plenty of ram to do so.

The server runs just fine, I can connect using "localHost" as the IP, but i cannot with my local ip address nor other local pcs, as well as after portforwarding, others cannot connect via internet.

The only way is via "LocalHost" and ofcourse only i can connect this way as its on my machine.

Hosted many a server before (inc Dedi) never ran into this issue.

have you specified anything in server.properties on the "server-ip=" line?

If yes, then remove that so it only states "server-ip=" (without "")

a computer can have several IPs for different things; so you could be using the wrong IP, I know a friends server thats IP changes regularly so bear that in mind

the problem could also be the port which the server is hosted on, generally it is 25565 and :25565 may need to be added to your IP to connect to it. if you already do this, the port may not be 25565, so check the server.properties

from this error message I don't think it happens but it could be something to do with firewalls, even local connections can be a bit temperamental so bear that in mind as well
