.. a good level.dat editing program please?

I want to move the server spawn. I have tried NBTedit but I get a tag 101 error when trying to open my level.dat. Also tried NBTexplorer but all I get is a blank white window when I open the .dat.

NBTExplorer is what I use and it works fine. what worlds data file are you trying to open? With mystcraft the files get a bit jumbled and you have to know which ones to look at.

I am trying to edit the spawn co-ordinates for our server world. I understand that you need to edit the level.dat file. I have dragged it down from the ftp on my desktop but when I open it with nbtexplorer I just get a blank white screen.

Part is your not giving enough information as it works for other people (including myself) just fine. So just saying NBTExplorer is not working does not give much if anything to go on.
